The things I do
Went to the sold out Avett Brothers concert on friday at Chastain ,and I’ve got to say, if any band is more inspiring than another, it’s this one. This was my second time seeing them perform and the experience is one that’s uncomparable to any other! Which brings me to mention…genre fashion.
It’s amazing the people watching at these shows. Be it folk, grunge, new wave or dubstep, the same two people could be standing next to eachother at every show and be unrecognizable to the other because of each patron’s dressing to match the genre. I myself, would probably more guilty than others, except I tend to go to mostly folk shows.
Even non-conformists conform. We’re all just floating the mainstream and this hatred of similarities has got to go..being “different” is turning into a fashion statement and I’m pretty close to vomitting now. Regardless, I’m learning about this online blogging and this show was something I wanted to share.
